Clifton is a specialist business law practice dedicated to serving its clients.  We provide a range of legal services within the corporate and commercial frame and act for a variety of clients in Australia and abroad. 

Our core strength resides in presenting a balanced mix of business acumen and technical excellence.  On a deal this means a keen eye on the value proposition, securing our client’s material interests in negotiations, and ensuring that the legal documentation captures the deal and protects our client’s interests in a clear and concise manner.

We offer all the benefits of a small specialist practice without its inherent resourcing limitations.  We do this through the relationships we enjoy with major top 10 law firms through to smaller practices.  This allows us to cover areas of specialist expertise such as tax, environment and litigation, and to make available wider resources (such as a team of junior lawyers for a due diligence investigation) if required.  Where we engage the services of other firms we are highly selective about the individual lawyers we enlist and we manage the services diligently.
